Locked Up is an experiment in using virtual reality to reimagine classic fairytales in digital spaces. This project began from a desire to merge digital space with material and physical practice. The image was taken with a 360 camera and then printed and rescanned using handheld scanners. Characters were realized with india ink and merged into a collaged physical and digital environment. With this project I explored how classic children's fairytales and narratives will continue and evolve in VR spaces.
